friends,

a tad bit of history: music has held a steady presence in my life since before birth—as both my parents loved music and at a young age utilized song lyrics to impart wisdom during my upbringing. throughout my life, i have attended countless live shows and music festivals, which only furthered the depth of my musical love and appreciation.

for the past decade, i’ve had the chance to serve as “backstage mama” at several Virginia and North Carolina music festivals. during this tenure i forged many relationships—with musicians, producers, stage managers, drivers, etc.—and the stars aligned to create my very own “into the woods” concert series for the past 3 years.  within the last year, we have repurposed an old market building into a beautiful, collective gathering space i have named ‘sunnyside’.
